[SOLVED] setting up opencart for SSL - OpenCart Community

The issue appears to be that when i modify the settings as above the site cannot then access the mysql database. I am not sure if this is a hosting issue as i have the site hosted on a cloud server and they installed and setup the ssl certificate but after nearly 10 hours of fiddling about i have given up.
